Kale has been consumed since Roman times and has been cultivated in Europe and China for years. It’s a versatile vegetable with a relatively neutral flavor that can be prepared in many different ways. Even if you’re not a huge fan of greens, you can almost certainly find a way to enjoy kale. It contains the highest levels of lutein of all vegetables contained with the USDA’s database. It also contains vitamins A, K, C, B6, and minerals Manganese, Calcium, Copper, Thiamin, Folate, Iron, Riboflavin, and Potassium.

Gecko Mountain Farm
Gecko Mountain Farm is a locally owned and operated microgreen farm in Kalispell Montana. We have a climate controlled environment for our greens that allows us to provide year round! We believe in clean eating therefore we never use any fertilizers or pesticides. Our greens grow in Coco Coir to keep a clean well drained soil system. Our packaged microgreens come in clamshells that are made from plants so they are compostable! We also focus on having organic seeds as often as they are available.
Our Roots
There is nothing quite as reminiscent of my roots in Montana as this old faded photo. Through my amazing family I have learned so much about natural healing and what to feed my body. I pursued a career in nutrition and was a certified holistic nutritionist for 6 years. I longed for a way to give more back to the family that raised me and the community I had grown in. I purchased Gecko Mountain Farms from Renee Watt in 2022. Renee had been passionately growing microgreens in the Flathead Valley for the past 3 years. We worked closely together to bring the same quality microgreens into the future of Gecko Mountain Farms. Grown locally for our community and our families.
