Originally, parmesan cheese hails from the Parma and Reggio Emilia regions of Italy, from which it gets its name, parmigiano reggiano. Today, production of this cheese in the EU is strictly regulated, and only cheeses made in certain regions of Italy can be labeled “parmesan.” Though standards in the USA aren’t as strict, we’re just as serious about the quality of our parmesan cheese! We think you’ll be able to taste that commitment.

Our parmesan cheese is great grated (pun intended) over pasta or pizza, melted over chicken parm, or crumbled onto a charcuterie board. It’s also fantastic in salads, sauces, and soups—or paired with fruit or honey for a sweet and savory dessert.
